In the Gaasterland region in the province of Friesland you will find Oudemirdum and in Oudemirdum, on the edge of the forest and only 5 minutes from the IJsselmeer, you will find our beautiful forest house "HUIZZZE BOS & MORE". From this wonderful house, equipped for 4 people (and a baby), you can enjoy all the beauty that this area has to offer.

Cycling or walking through the most beautiful forests, playing golf, boating, swimming, surfing, visiting cozy terraces and wonderful restaurants is a small summary of what there is to do in this beautiful area.

Wij Jeroen en Esther zijn de eigenaren/verhuurders van dit mooie boshuisje hier in het heerlijke Oudemirdum. Wij wonen in het huis wat geschakeld staat met het boshuisje. Het huisje heeft een eigen oprit waar 2 auto’s geparkeerd kunnen worden en een eigen ingang.

We Jeroen and Esther are the owners/landlords of this beautiful forest house here in the lovely Oudemirdum. We live in the house which is connected to the forest house. The cottage has its own driveway where 2 cars can be parked and its own entrance.

The house was built in 1937 and was completely renovated a few years ago, equipped with a new bathroom and kitchen, is completely insulated and has retained its characteristic elements, such as the beautiful stained glass windows in the living room.

The house has 2 full bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds. This makes the house suitable for 1-4 people and a baby. There is a camp bed (including bed linen), a stair gate, a baby bath, changing mat and a high chair.

In the cozy living room is a pellet stove for the colder evenings. A TV with Apple TV and a JBL speaker.

There is free WIFI available.

There are several family games in the sideboard.

The kitchen is equipped with an oven and microwave, stove, refrigerator, Nespresso machine and an adjoining dining area for 4 people. Children's cutlery is available.

The cottage is fully furnished and provided with fresh bed linen, 1 bath towel and 1 bath towel per guest, kitchen and dishcloths upon arrival.

Outside is a garden belonging to the forest house with a picnic bench and various seating areas, an outdoor fireplace and a small Weber charcoal BBQ. There is also an outdoor box with various outdoor toys.

If you want to bring your own bicycle, you can park it under a roof behind the house. You can also easily rent a bicycle in the village.

Smoking is not allowed in the cottage

No pets are allowed.
