Walk through the Jolderen forest on the other side to IJsboerderij de Buterkamp, get delicious ice cream here and meet the cows that are responsible for getting addicted to this ice cream… and especially take in a cone which you give to the goat there, this is so sweet!

Park your car in the Oldehove parking garage, from here you can discover Leeuwarden very nicely, everything within walking distance.
Little Church Street. The nicest shopping street in Leeuwarden. You can walk into the center via this street. When you walk out of the parking garage, this street is on your right.
The Prinsentuin, on the water, nice to walk through here you can also have a nice lunch at "de Koperen Tuin" The Prinsentuin is on your left when you leave the parking garage.
Climb the Oldehove. Located on the square of the parking garage.
Visit Blokhuispoort. This is the old prison of Leeuwarden which has been transformed into a cultural business center with shops and restaurant etc. Well worth it. Blokhuispoort is located on the other side of the center.
A cruise through the canals of Leeuwarden.
The Frisian museum on the Wilhelminaplein in the center of Leeuwarden.
Catch a movie at Pathé, with wonderful relaxing chairs or a performance in Theater de Harmonie, both are next to each other next to Wilhelminaplein.
